This is the story that's keeping me awake tonight:
...Chicago Auxiliary Bishop Mark Bartosic arrived unannounced at Resurrection Parish on Chicago’s Northwest side and told Pastor Paul Kalchik that he had just minutes to get his belongings together and vacate the premises or the police would be called to arrest him for trespassing.
Fr. Kalchik was about to perform a wedding.
Soon after, Fr. Kalchik left for an undisclosed location, accompanied by his brother who had been visiting the parish.

Cardinal Cupich was angry at Father Kalchik after his parshioners cut up and burned a rainbow flag, a symbol of homosexuality. Fr. Kalchik also called for his parishioners to boycott masses celebrated by Cardinal Cupich because of the cardinal's alleged involvement in the current homosexualist scandal.
For this, Father Kalchik got the bum's rush from his parish; the couple he had counseled and prepared for marriage were married by a stranger at the last minute--in other words, all that mattered in this situation is Cardinal Cupich's tantrum.
You, Peasant, do not matter. The hierarchy of people like Cardinal Cupich are more concerned with the feelings of people the Church itself defines as "intrinsically disordered". The pastor of your parish, the man who has baptized and buried your family, the Father of your parish Family, can be ripped away from you for teaching and practicing Catholicism, and you, Peasant, can do nothing about it.
What we allow is what will continue. As long as we allow this kind of cowardly, back-handed disrespect, we will continue to be treated without respect.
Tell them you won't take it anymore. Tell them they can't work in the dark. Tell them:
